Teacher's Day 2022

Teachers' Day is celebrated in India on September 5.

5th Sep is birthday of Bharat Ratna Dr. Shri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a teacher, politician, & also India's first vice president.

Professor Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a scholar and professor who studied comparative religion and philosophy.

The University of Chicago, Calcutta, and the Oxford & Madras Presidency College were all places where he taught Philosophy.

After earning a master's degree in philosophy, Radhakrishnan studied Advaita Vedanta.

By equipping their students with the necessary knowledge and wisdom, teachers, like Radhakrishnan, build the nation's future.

Our society recognizes teachers' role, plight, and rights on Teachers' Day.

UNESCO's World Teachers' Day falls on October 5, but in India, it is celebrated on September 5.
