DRDO CEPTAM 10 Notification 2022 has already been released to fill up 1901 vacancies for the posts of Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A (Tech-A) under Defence Research & Development Organisation Technical Cadre (DRTC). The latest DRDO recruitment notification has been released under the Advt. No. CEPTAM-10/DRTC. • The government of India’s Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) works under the Ministry of Defence to develop and produce state-of-the-art battlefield systems for the country’s armed forces i.e., the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

DRDO CEPTAM 10 Eligibility Criteria 2022

In order to be eligible for the DRDO CEPTAM 10 recruitment 2022, candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility norms. These important criteria are explained ahead for both posts as per DRDO CEPTAM 10 Notification 2022.

Age Limit for STA-B & TECH-A Posts

Note: The age limit requirement for DRDO CEPTAM 10 recruitment will be relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBCNCL/ ESM/ PwBD/ Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Departmental Candidates with three years continuous service in Central Government, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons Domiciled in J&K State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualification for STA-B & TECH-A Posts

The essential qualification required for the post of Senior Technical Assistant and Technician in DRDO is provided below.

Note: The candidates possessing higher qualification, viz., M.Sc. or B.Tech. or B.E. or Ph.D. degree etc., as on crucial date of eligibility, shall NOT be considered for the recruitment for the post of Senior Technical Assistant.

DRDO CEPTAM 10 Application Process

Candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the position before applying. 

1. It is mandatory for all candidates to apply online through the link DRDO Recruitment [CEPTAM Notice Board] on DRDO’s website (https://www.drdo.gov.in). 
2. In the event that applications are submitted by any other means or mode, they will be summarily rejected. 
3. The application portal will open on 3rd Sep 2022 (1000 Hrs) and close on 25th Sep 2022 (1700 Hrs). 
4. Candidates should submit online applications far in advance and not wait until the last minute to avoid network congestion or failure to access the website during the closing hours/days due to heavy traffic/load on the website. It is the candidates’ responsibility to meet these requirements. 
5. If candidates are unable to submit their applications by the last date due to the aforementioned reasons, CEPTAM will not be responsible. 
6. A candidate’s e-mail address, mobile phone number, correspondence address and permanent address must be accurate and active during the recruitment process as all correspondence will be conducted through them. 
7. The applicants must submit all acquired qualifications at the time of filling out the online application form as of the crucial eligibility date.

How to Apply for DRDO CEPTAM 10 Recruitment?

1. First, the candidate must register online by filling out the essential information.
2. Following successful registration, the candidate will receive an email with a user ID and password (note them down and keep them safe), which they will use to login and fill out their application. 
3. Name, date of birth, father’s name & mother’s name must be entered according to matriculation / secondary certificates. 
4. The candidate must have a valid & active personal email address and a mobile phone number. 
5. CEPTAM will entertain no change of mobile number or email address at any point in time. 

Note: It is not necessary to send CEPTAM a printed copy of your application. In case of provisional shortlisting, candidates must present a duly signed printed copy of their application during document verification.

DRDO CEPTAM 10 Application Fees

The candidate is required to pay a non-refundable/nontransferable application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). 

• The application fee is waived for women and SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates, as per current government policy.
• You can pay the fee online with a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The candidates are responsible for all applicable service charges, including bank charges. 
• Candidates whose applications haven’t been completed or whose applications have been rejected will not receive a refund of their application fees. Under no circumstances will the application fee be refunded or applied to any other examination. It will not be possible to appeal such a rejection. 

Document Required for DRDO CEPTAM 10 Application Form

It is necessary to keep the following documents ready before filling out the online application: 

• EQR certificates: (1.1) For the post of STA-B: EQR certificates e.g. B.Sc., Diploma etc. (as applicable). (1.2) For the post of Tech-A: EQR certificates e.g. Certificate from ITI (NCVT/SCVT)/National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate in required discipline (as applicable). 
• Xth class or equivalent certificate for age proof. 
• Photograph (Use only recent colour photograph taken within last 30 days. Keep sufficient copies of the same photograph for future use. 
• Signature on plain white paper. 
• Identity proof (ID) (e.g. Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, PAN, Driving License, School/ College Id card, any other photo bearing Id card issued by the Central or State Govt.) which must be carried in original during the examination & document verification.
