World Malala Day 2023: Malala Yousafzai, the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, needs no introduction today. She was given the Nobel Peace Prize in the year 2014. Malala Yousafzai: Short Biography

Malala Yousafzai was born on 12 July 1997 in Swat, Mingora province of Pakistan. His father Ziauddin Yousafzai is a Pakistani diplomat and educationist and his mother’s name is Tour Pichai Yousafzai. Malala’s early education was at Khushal Girls High School, Swat, Pakistan. Her father established this school for the education of the girls. Pakistan’s terrorist group Tehrik-e-Taliban had banned girls from reading and writing in the North West area of Pakistan. Because of this Malala and many girls were not able to study. For this reason, Malala launched a campaign against this terrorist group and in many ways, she started opposing it through the platform.

when Malala was only 15 years old, on October 9, 2012, when Malala Yousafzai was returning to her home by bus after taking exams from school, on the way, Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists attacked the bus. Stopped and went inside and shouted loudly “Who is Malala among you guys, tell me or else I will shoot everyone.” On discovering Malala, the terrorists wearing masks opened fire. Which went between Malala’s left eye and shoulder. In this attack, two more people named Kainat Riyaz and Shazia Ramzan were injured. After this, as soon as the police administration came to know, he was immediately brought by air ambulance to the Military Hospital in Peshawar, where his condition was cured after 5 hours of long surgery. At that time Malala got an offer of help from all over the world for better treatment. Finally, on 15 October 2012, he was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in London for better medical treatment, where Malala came out of a coma after 2 days. And finally, on January 3, 2013, Malala was fully recovered and discharged from the hospital.
