World Blood Donor Day 2023: Sometimes money can’t save a life but donated blood can! The best kind of people are those who help others without expecting anything in return. The percentage of deaths due to the non-availability of blood is increasing day by day. It is important to note that once bleeding begins, death can occur in about 2 hours, compared with 10 hours for eclampsia and 72 hours for obstructed labour. In such a situation, organizations around the world have made a commendable effort to celebrate World Blood Donor Day on 14 June to promote blood donation.
